HomeTown Pharmacy is dedicated to being the most impactful, caring business in every community that they are in. With around 30 different locations throughout West Michigan, they serve a lot of people. They don't let that get in the way of acting as the caretaker to everyone that comes through their doors. They make sure that you aren't treated like a number, but rather as a unique person with unique needs and a name. A friendly, genuine one-on-one interaction is what you will hear from most people that visit one of these locations frequently.

Verken was contacted by 21 Handshake, a marketing and consulting agency based in Ada, Michigan to help concept, script, shoot, and produce 6 different stories of the 6 main customer types that they serve. We started by meeting with the HomeTown Pharmacy (HTP) team and deciding what the selected customer types were going to be, and how we could tie each story back to HTP's main company missions.

After the customer types had been agreed upon, Verken worked with 21 Handshake to script what each storyline would be for each commercial. Verken the casted the talent, scouted the locations, and produced the commercials in the summer of 2021.

Up to this point, this had been the largest self produced project that we had worked on. We knew that proper preproduction would be the key to making this project a success. With all of right pieces in place and the plan locked in, we were able to produce 8 (yes, we even created an extra one) commercials that the HTP team were able to use for their new marketing campaigns.
